子供用の遊具などもあり、近所の子供達が遊ぶにも良いところだと思います。
ただもう少し、地元で大事にして貰いたいと思いました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 康平7年（1064）源義家奥州征伐凱旋の際此の近郷鎮護の為神祠を創建し、京都愛宕神社の分霊を勧請す。従士高橋主殿、大友美濃等をして社殿を掌らしめ、且つ此地方を鎮撫せしめたと伝えられる。（高橋、大友二氏の子孫連綿現存す。）社地は元、下野郷竹ノ内（館の門、宮の脇）にありしを正平年間野火の為炎上し宮殿及系譜等灰に帰したので仮宮を営んで祭事をつづけ行っていたが、永正年間今の地を相し社殿を造営朝夕神恩を仰いだ。明治15年には拝殿を、又42年には本殿、幣殿、神饌舎、社務所等を建築した。万治2年以来、当地の真言宗愛宕山岩誓寺が別当として社務を掌っていたが明治維新と同時に廃し、明治5年6月村社列格、同44年5月供進社に指定された。これより先、押分字御伊勢浦の神明社（天平宝字6年恵美朝臣朝獦の勧請）をはじめ下野郷字浜の稲荷、字藤曽根の丹生神社を合祀した。
