We stopped by for a drive to Mt. Tsukuba. It was about an 8-minute walk from the parking lot to the viewing platform. It was a fine day, so the view was good. I took a deep breath and enjoyed the fresh air. There is a chaise lounge on the observatory, but it's nice to sit in the surrounding lawn park.
