★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for Japanese lessons in Tokyo, I would highly recommend Asao Language school. Teachers can follow individual pupils very well, they not only teach you a lesson but also give an advice. I have confidence to have interview in Japanese after taking a private class :)

When I took lessons with them during a 3-month stay in Japan, I felt like I was part of a fun, kind community rather than just a student. In addition to high quality language instruction, I received many cultural insights and recommendations about local resources. My favorite part was the monthly cultural excursions. The excursions were lots of fun and I was able to enjoy time with several of the instructors and other students. I definitely look forward to connecting with everyone the next time I am in Japan.
