T	Timothy Kenyon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Beautiful little Onsen. The staff were very welcoming and had no trouble with me not speaking much Japanese. There's the main bath house with an indoor and outdoor bath. And, a "Rotenburo", a separate outdoor natural stone bath surrounded by garden. There's a bus that takes you from central Matsumoto up to Asama Onsen and Biwa is a short walk from the bus stop.
R	Rachael C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It cost 800 yen which is expensive. I rode here and it was a bit hard to find, up a hill. The women’s outdoor bath that’s connected to the change room was small. The other outdoor bath is separate so you need to get dressed again which is annoying. The signs for that bath aren’t clear.
E	Equinoxes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very close to Down Town Matsumoto. To get this serene onsen, a looping bus departs from central area of Matsumoto once or twice in an hour, takes about 25 minutes bus ride, and cost only 360 yen (One way). My favorite part of this onsen was forest view that I can see through a window sets near a ceiling. Soak in a tub, tiny bubbles massaging my back, and see trees movement like ocean momentally takes away all chaos.

S	Scott Combs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a great place to go. I liked how isolated and peaceful the place was. Everyone there was super nice and enjoying the bath was amazing. Super fun place to relax. I liked the open air baths here as it was very nice.
