★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここに行くには、横山浄水場の方から行けます。最後の方は大変ですが車は2〜3台おけます。
ここの大滝が大多喜の地名の由来です。地元の人はほとんどの人がこの滝の場所を知らないらしいです？
中世の頃までは、大多喜は おたき( 小滝 小田喜 )と呼ばれいた。
この滝は期待していたほど大きくなく まさに小滝です。この滝の名を縁起よく大滝に変え 地名も縁起の良い大多喜に変えたのです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 薄暗い静寂の森の中にひっそりとたたずむ神社と龍の滝。かすかに差し込む木漏れ日がとても神秘的です。
このスポット自体はとても素晴らしいのですが、普通乗用車で行ったところあまりの悪路に車体がバッコンバッコン跳ねて酷い目に合いました。
行かれる方はバイクや軽トラ、もしくは傷がついてもいい車で行くことをオススメします。
A shrine and a dragonfall that quietly nestle in a dimly tranquil forest. The sunbeams that are faintly inserted are very mysterious.
This spot itself is very nice, but when I went with a normal passenger car, the car body bounced on the bad road and it hit me badly.
We recommend that you go by motorcycle, light tiger, or car that can be scratched.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最後は路面状態『フルダート』の横山林道終点、浅間神社の大滝です。この大滝は別名『神坊の滝』『爽山の滝』とも呼ばれ、『大滝』が町名である『大多喜』の由来になったと伝承されています。また、水垢離場を彷彿とさせる別名『樂定峡霊場・男滝』、浅間山225m方面から東流する夷隅川水系大久保川源流付近の滝で、龍神様の口から落水しています。この『男滝』が町名である『大多喜』の由来になったという説もあります。浅間神社は、荒れ果てた階段を上ったところにひっそりと鎮座しています。鳥居前に駐車スペースあり、イノシシ出没注意です。

ただ、帰りが同じ道を戻ると考えると憂鬱な位、オフロード以外のバイクには不向きです。
大多喜の地名の由来だと言われると、規模や落差は小さいながら、立派な滝に見えてしまいます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静かな山道の先にある神社と滝。滝は滝行用に竜の口から吹き出します。神社そのものは滝の上部にひっそりとあります。
※砕石を敷いた道のうちは良いのですけど、浄水場を過ぎたあたりから簡易舗装が剥げて轍ができたでこぼこ道になります。歩いても３km弱なので徒歩でも瀬音が聞こえて気持ちが良いです。ただし、森が深く川筋は見えません。
