I have stayed at the forest site for 2 nights. The weather did not change and it became a very good camp. The staff were very friendly and the toilets and shower room were in good condition, so I felt good. The forest site this time felt a little narrow with 4 people in my house (3 adults, 1 elementary school student) and gearful equipment. (It's quite full with my home toolome.) Also, the ground of the site is covered with fairly large volcanic stones, and it can only be entered with thick cast pegs. If you are unfamiliar or worried, we recommend the plateau site. The location was very magnificent, with Mt. Asama towering right in front of me. However, since it is an active volcano, those who go need to collect information. (There is no problem so far ...) There is no shop, but firewood and charcoal are sold. (It seems that a server has been introduced and draft beer is also sold ?) Also, there is no supermarket nearby, so you need to prepare in advance. I visited for the first time this time and it was a very cozy campsite!

For the time being, I searched for a campsite where I could make a reservation because it was GW, and decided here with a feeling that it was almost a prompt decision, but when I searched for others, there are places where two people can stay for about 5,000 yen per night. .. .. The highway fare was quite expensive for a round trip, so I decided to scrutinize the next camp a little more!

A campsite next to the Geopark at the northern foot of Mt. Asama, which is now closed. There are various sites such as field free sites, solo sites, sites that allow direct fire, and trailer house sites, and each section (excluding free sites) is also firmly separated by steps on the ground instead of sleepers and ropes. You can see Mt. Asama in front of you from each section and the view is outstanding. Toilets and showers are also available, and showers are available free of charge 24 hours a day. Although the shower does not cost a fee, it was well cleaned and I was impressed. You will be given a garbage bag at check-in, and you will be able to dispose of it locally, except for cardboard, metals, batteries, etc. This is a very welcome service. There are also two kitchens, and drinks containing alcohol were sold at shops, so I would like to use it next time. It was used in May, but the temperature was 3 ℃ as of 3:00 AM. I felt that the sensible temperature was lower because of the high altitude campsite, so I felt that those who use it for the first time should not neglect the cold weather equipment. Overall, the campsite is very beautiful, and the staff are friendly and wonderful, so I would like to recommend it to those who are new to camp.

At night, it dropped to nearly 10 degrees at a stretch. The toilet is a warm water toilet seat. It's a type that you can change into slippers, so it's very beautiful. The shower booth is also free and the best. Since there are no supermarkets around, it is essential to buy in advance. Since it is in the mountains, many small insects are still flying even in autumn. It might have been better to have a mosquito coil ... Since there is no extra light around, the starry sky spreads out. Even after the site on the other side was turned off, multiple lanterns were burning brilliantly, which was a bit disappointing (they's Otsumu).
