He's treated all of us for various conditions--hearing impairment, dry eyes, back pains, foot pains, and other ailments--and is a first-rate acupuncturist who is always expanding his field of knowledge and his approaches. He knows what he's doing. Also, he's honest. There have been times when we were prepared to go in for further treatments, but Ochiai Sensei told us that it wasn't necessary and would simply be a waste of money on our side. No acupuncturist or doctor can cure or alleviate every condition, but in my view Ochiai Sensei is worth the visit because he'll do what he can, and if there's nothing more he can do, he'll be honest about it. I would also say that he has a very light touch with the needles, which are generally very thin. I know a lot of people who are afraid of acupuncture, and to them I say don't worry. It feels like someone's pinching you for a microsecond. Even when he's treating areas close to the eyes, it barely hurts, for me. So rest assured about that aspect of it.

When I got singles on my face, I used doctor prescribed medicine and it did block from recurring but it didn’t heal. Every fall ma face felt something odd and sometime I felt pain. I started looking acupuncture doctor and found articles that - “K1 fighter had back pain but returned within three months after acupuncture treatment”. Immediately called and made an appointment. I was not fully bought by “acupuncture” before Ochiai sensei’s treatment. The treatment was very pleasant, no pain and it came in the right on middle where I needed. And I didn’t realize my stomach wasn’t functioning well. Ochiai sensei read my pulse and noticed my stomach problems , performed “okyu” - which made my stomach very warm until next day - I still remember and felt my body pieces started recognizing each other. I had really good night sleep too. I just know “ this is it!” , I went every week, then I felt better and better, then bi-weekly, monthly- then come to see Asahi sensei whenever I needed. My face pain stopped and never felt “odd” again, everytime I saw Ochiai sensei, I got energy and felt better. One of my friends was so sad because he couldn’t play golf anymore due to back pain. He saw Ochiai sensei few times and now he is so happy and smiling “I play golf again “. I strongly recommend Asahi chiryoin. So good!!
