部活動が盛んで、全国大会に行った部活が自分の代の時にありました。
生徒数が多く、クラスも8クラスあり、1クラス平均36～37人くらいです。1学年で300人くらいです。人数が多いため、学校の体育祭では4ブロックに別れて1ブロックに6クラス(1～3年各２クラスずつ)になります。この6クラスをまとめるブロック長がいます。
すごいですよね！
また、卒業式の全員合唱ではとても迫力があり、きれいです。今年で70周年を迎える、伝統・歴史のある学校です。
