The birthplace of Sanshakutama and Shishakutama. The Autumn Festival (Katagai Festival), where locals donate fireworks to Asahara Shrine, is held every September. Famous for the three major fireworks in Niigata, Kashiwazaki in the sea, Nagaoka in the river, and Kagami in the mountains. If you are a big ball fan over shakutama, you will definitely be satisfied.

世界一の四尺の花火が上がります。
当初、失敗も有りましたけど、花火の筒を地中に埋めたため、筒が割れる事が無くなり、形はともかく安心できる花火になりました。
三尺以上は警報のサイレンと共に花火が上がります。
毎年オーダーの花火をお願いします。
１尺玉、五万円位、二発で観覧席の権利が付きます。
合計15万円でリッチな花火を観覧する事が出来ます。
片貝町煙火協会に問い合わせて下さい。
十人位入って２日楽しめます。
升席は普通に買うと個人では購入しにくいけど、花火をお願いしますとメリットが有ります。

４尺玉と３尺玉の花火以外はめちゃくちゃすごいという訳ではないですが、他の花火大会にはないマイペースな花火大会です。資金を出資して自分の花火を打ち上げてもらう事もできます。
クライマックスの４尺玉の迫力は最強です。
普通の花火はバーンですが３、４尺玉になるとヴァガァ〜ンと今までの花火とは格の違う破裂音です。
文字では説明できない素晴らしさなので是非一を足を運んで体感して見てください。

どこにもない風情と人情味ある花火大会！
ひとつひとつの花火に人の想いが入っていて、ただ綺麗だけじゃない愛があり美しいのだ。
一発一発が感謝で溢れている。
子供が生まれてお祝いの打ち上げ尺玉。入学おめでとうで尺玉。プロポーズで尺玉三連発！還暦祝いで超特大スターマイン打ち上げ、亡くなっても三回忌で打上げる。
こんな素敵な祝い方ができるのは、片貝の人々だけじゃないだろうか？
毎回花火ナレーションをしてくれる女性の声が楽しみのひとつでもある。
