★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 境内はよく整備されていて、広い静かな雰囲気のある神社。本殿も再建されたものだろうが、趣のある建物で地味ではあるが、文化財に指定されてもいい位のものだと思う。延喜式記名帳にある荒見神社と比定されているが、城陽市の同名神社とどちらなのか結論が出ていないらしい。
The shrine is a well-maintained shrine with a large, quiet atmosphere. The main shrine may have been rebuilt, but it is a quaint building, although it is plain, but I think it can be designated as a cultural property. It is compared with Arami Shrine in the Enki-style name book, but it seems that there is no conclusion as to which is the same name shrine in Joyo City.

き付くのではないでしょうか。小さく寂れた観はあ
りますが建物は他と比べても見劣りはしていません
。地域コミュニティーの場となっているのか小さい

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道１号沿いに木々に囲まれた境内があります。しかし、鳥居は国道とは反対側にあります。
当社の創建年代は不明とのことですが、延喜式および山城国風土記に現在の神社名で記載されているので、少なくとも千年以上前であることは明らかであるとのことです。
境内は公園になっており、鉄棒や滑り台、動物の顔のかわいい遊具があります。
