伊那谷とアルプスの眺望が良い。
アクセス路の林道 新井線は離合困難な場所が多々あるのでお気をつけください。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道151ー下條村ー新井展望公園というりっぱな看板があり、天気は快晴ルンルン気分で国道からそれたら、ゲ、すれ違いもできない林道に突入！泣きそうな気分で公園まで3キロ位か？なんとかたどり着いた。快晴☀だったから良かったけど。眺望最高?⤴⤴

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ローカルな展望台だが、俯瞰する山並み、里の集落、遠くの飯田の街、絵画のような構図のバランスが美しい。特に集落が点々多数に、中山間にある風景はなかなかあるようでないもの。
たどり着くまでは細い山道をくねくねという感じだが、そこそこに訪問する人はいるようで、付いた時には乗用車とバイクが各１台あった。
