★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apita Supermarket is located on the first floor of the Riverside Senshu Shopping Mall in Nagaoka. Although it offers a pleasant enough shopping experience, I do not recommend it because its prices are on average higher than is warranted by the added value of the ambience and because the range of food items is a little narrow. Dedicated bargain hunters will find one or two gems, but these small savings do not justify the time and effort required to get to and park at the shopping mall.
