 If the station is often used for commuting, this facility is sufficient. Next door is Kyoto Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐輪場の警備員が無愛想かつ偉そう。停めた後本当に建物を利用するのか確認する為らしく、わざわざ出てきてずっと二階の店に入るまで目で追いかけてきます。子供が気持ち悪がって利用しなくなった。買い物した後他の自転車を見たら、「何時何分、駅に向かった」などと貼ってあるものも。JRの天下り先で雇用しているかもしれませんが、不法駐輪対策なら、無料でどこの店に入るかお爺さんに見張られているより、機械タイプの有料駐輪場にしてくれた方が余程いいです。
The guard at the bicycle parking lot seems unfriendly and great. After stopping, it seems to confirm that you really want to use the building, so I will come out and chase with eyes until I enter the shop on the second floor all the time. The child was sick and stopped using it. If you look at other bicycles after shopping, you will find some that say "What time, how many minutes did you head to the station?" You may be hiring at JR's destination, but as for illegal bicycle parking measures, it is better for me to make it a mechanical type bicycle parking lot than the grandfather is watching where to enter for free is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ シズヤ、スタバ、フレッシュネスバーガーなあるので結構オススメです。
二階の本屋はこじんまりとしてるので、専門書を探すのには向いてないですね。
シズヤは匠のサーモンサンドがめちゃめちゃうまいです。
フレッシュネスバーガーはコンセント多いですし、スタバに比べて空いてるし、飲み物も安いのでオススメです。
There are Shizuya, Starbucks, and Freshness burgers, so I highly recommend them.
The bookstore on the second floor is small, so it's not suitable for finding specialized books.
Shizuya is very good at the master salmon sand.
The freshness burger has many outlets, it is vacant compared to Starbucks, and the drinks are cheap, so it is recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ リニューアルしてからロッテリアとミスドがなくなってしまったのは残念。
でも薬局が入ってくれたので凄く便利になった。
それまでは駅近で品揃えの良い薬局がなかったので、安くはないけどよく利用する。
二階の本屋はオシャレ雑貨が豊富で楽しい。
It's a pity that Lotteria and Misted are gone after the renewal.
But it was very convenient because the pharmacy came in.
Until then, I didn't have a well-stocked pharmacy near the station, so it's not cheap but I often use it.
The second-floor bookstore is full of fashionable goods and is fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR山科駅に駅前商業施設ができました。スターバックスコーヒーやフレッシュネスバーガー等かなり良いテナントが入居していますが、駅のホームから見えるデジタルサイネージがうまく運用していないのが残念です。もっと動画コンテンツを流したりして、アイキャッチ効果を高め存在感をアピールしたらいいのなと思いました。
A commercial facility in front of the station was created at JR Yamashina Station. There are quite good tenants such as Starbucks coffee and freshness burger, but it is a pity that the digital signage seen from the station platform is not operating well. 一体になってる山科駅側に、うどん・そば、期間入れ替わりのスイーツ店、セブン-イレブンもある。
Starbucks and Shizuya (bread), Freshness Burger, Futaba Shobo, etc. There are not many bicycles, but there is a bicycle parking lot. It's not noticeable, but there's a toilet next to it.
