由緒ある場所なのだと驚かされた。
It is said that this was the place where the 61st Ichirizuka from Edo on the Tokaido was, and also the turning point of the Hime Highway.
I was surprised that it was a venerable place.

It is quietly located in a residential area. In the old days, this was the junction (Oiwake) between the Tokaido and the Himekaido, which was a sidewalk.
