★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地元の人に案内してもらいながら、安城市安城町若宮〔西尾弁財天〕を訪れた。安城市教育委員会の説明板によれば、「水に関する福徳の女神で、農業神として祭られています。そのため稲作灌漑の溜池を作り、その中に祠が設けられて」いるとのことで、〔弁財天〕についてもっているイメージとは異なる。
社殿右奥に芭蕉句碑が建っている。
もゝとせのけしきを庭のおち葉かな 芭蕉翁
明治２６年（１８９３）建立の碑で、大正１３年（１９２４）に、ここへ移された。句は元禄４年（１６９１）彦根市の明照寺住職・河野李由への挨拶吟。
I visited Wakamiya, Anjo-cho, Anjo City (Nishio Benzaiten) with local people. According to the explanation board of the Anjo City Board of Education, “It is a goddess of water-related virtue and is celebrated as an agricultural god. Therefore, a rice irrigation basin was created, and there was a paddle in it.” This is different from the image of [Bententen].
There is a Buddhist monument on the right back of the shrine.
Mototokenokeki is a garden leaflet in the garden.
This monument was erected in 1893, and was moved here in 1924. The phrase is a greeting from Ginsho-ji's resident priest, Yoshiyuki Kono, in Hikone, 1691.
