★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a full body massage today and it was fantastic. Aika jiang’s hands are firm and confident. She is small but she utilises her body weight and elbows to put the pressure deep into the muscles. I suffered from lower back pain due to a sedative lifestyle and Aika jiang seems to sense the tightness and focus on those areas although we didn’t communicate much. She also understand the gluteus are often associated with the lower back pain. I have done massage regularly due to my back issue so I highly recommend Aika jiang if you have the similar issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the most rejuvenating and healing massages I’ve ever had. If we weren’t leaving Kyoto today I would have gone back.
My husband and I both got 90 mins of shiatsu from Yuka and Tomoko yesterday. Both therapists were strong and intuitive. I left the massage genuinely feeling taller, I felt so much better. Yuka and I chatted for a while, she was the sweetest person I’ve met in Japan and spoke excellent English. Wish we could have gone back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The travel from the States took a toll on my body. I was hit with back spasms and sciatica. I was worried I would be spending my entire trip in my hotel room. The front desk at my hotel recommended ANELA to me. They made my reservation, which was helpful, because the massage staff speaks very little English. Once there, they have an English menu to use, so you can point to the option you want. I had a 90 minute massage. One of the best massages I have ever had. I walked out pain free. I can’t wait to enjoy the rest of my trip. Thank you ANELA, for your healing hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After my flight from the States and two days of walking around, my back and legs were aching all over. I found Anela located just down the street from our hotel.
Communication was limited but the massage was perfect. I had a 90 minute full body massage. It started off light but got just the right amount of deep tissue. Great place, would go again.

I usually feel quite a bit of pain during massages and have to tell them to be more gentle as I am quite petite however at anela she knew the right pressure and the exact places to focus on without me saying anything. Extremely knowledgeable and they are truly experts here. The staff are amazing, so sweet and kind and provided the perfect ambience to feel relaxed. Didn't grab the name of the lady I had but she spoke perfect English and communication was very easy and she was always checking up to make sure I was comfortable. I had an oil massage and my partner had a shiatsu massage and we both almost fell asleep with how comfortable and at peace we were. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a massage in Kyoto. Super easy location and convenient next to the station ?
