B	Brian T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool spot where you'll see lot of foreigners from all corners of the earth. We came during the rugby world cup so not sure if this place is normally this busy. They had some good specials and a decent menu for a quick bite and some drinks. The staff are fluent in English, and menu is in Japanese and english.

The food is incredible (Sushi platter, crab legs OMG), the drinks (Shoyu Grapefruit), you really can't go wrong here. We went on a Monday night, it felt like a Friday night, completely packed, epic food and Izakaya train arch ambience. Check it out, you'll not be disappointed. Go and say hi to Andy...

The first time I saw crab served with his vinegar based dip and not garlic butter I was very pessimistic. I was wrong and will never go back. I actually eat my lobster this way now. Can’t recommend the sashimi, scallops or gyoza stuffed chicken wings enough. Actually get a little bit of everything, including the big beer.

I expected better quality of food with the higher price they charged than other izakaya. I ordered a king prawn to try but the order arrived way after I finished other food and drinks, I was about to leave without it. This is not not the cleanest place either as we saw a small cockroach crawling on our table. The only upside for me was the non-smoking policy.

Offered a drink immediately and seated. Ordered the chilli prawns, scallops, gyoza chicken wings, tempura and fish and chips... This isn’t your usual Japanese restaurant though with small portions - big plates and the prawns and scallops were the biggest I’ve ever had... so fresh and tasty! Gyoza chicken wings are worth a try and the fried chicken got rave reviews (not is, the table next to us!), but don’t over-order or you won’t finish! Thanks Andy, great meal with brilliant service (and the rugby on TV!), hopefully see you again!

Andy is English and attracts a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. He goes to the market every day and the fish is super fresh. We had some wonderful chili prawns, tempura, whole red snapper, wonderful swordfish and the crowning glory which was the tuna jaw ( highly recommended as the meat is very rich). The food was awesome. Beer and wine are available. Prices are reasonable. I would heavily recommend this restaurant

Everything here was delicious and Andy walked around getting people and discussing the menu, making suggestions. Great service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I am now a lifelong fan snd will most definitely be back.
