時折発着する列車を眺めながら過ごすことができる、庄内地方では数少ない公園です。
小さいながらもアスレチックやターザンロープ、ブランコ、波打つ滑り台、小山、シーソーなど遊具が揃っていて、けっこう遊べます。
小山にはトンネルがあるのが珍しいです。子供はそれだけでも楽しいと思います。
東屋があるのでピクニックにも向いてます。
近くの「クラッセ」に入っている余目製パンで買って食べるのもおすすめです。
