Beautiful hotel and grounds. Onsen was very relaxing and clean, with a variety of baths. Dinner was delicious, however breakfast was just an average buffet style. Free parking was nice and allowed my family to casually spend time in the surrounding area.

Good location Japanese style room is big and clean with nice ocean view. Small bathtub. Separate shower area. Not too small. Small separate toilet room. Good service with good translation device at the reception ??

Me and my family stayed at the hotel when there is national holiday, so there were lot of families with kids. The deco was kind of dated but the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered quite a variety but did not change day to day. I like the on sen that located on second floor also have outdoor on sen too. Overall it was good, though not quite impressive.

Great hotel, with beautiful views of Amanohashidate. The room is a bit old, but well maintained and huge (esp. compared to other Japanese hotels). The onsen is a great addition, especially the outside pool has a nice view. The breakfast was served bento style, with the only option being rice or bread for sides. They accepted PayPay.

Upon Arrival, the reception & front of house staffs (both male) were not very welcoming. They discretely did not appreciate foreigner clients notably in the specific choice of words used in their language, mannerism, and professionalism. The hotel itself is very dated. The rooms are quite spacious, tho the impression of not having any renovation or touch ups in decades leaves a thought to ponder, it can be seen that multiple larger than fist size holes are in the ceiling. We booked 3 different types of room in their divided 2 living buildings, all in the same condition. The rustic washroom are an after thought. The view from the hotel is a delight, it can oversee the vast mountain and the surrounding mirror reflected lake of Amanohashidate. The Onsen (hot spring) is not modern, a very boomer era oriented. We've selected a crabs meal for dinner in a private room for a party of over 10. The meal was standard, and immemorable. A Buffet style breakfast was included, left with the same feeling as the previous dinner.

As much as I travel in Japan, this hotel had the worst front desk staff. They were extremely rude and not helpful. Also the first time we’ve been asked for a copy of our gaijin cards while traveling in Japan. (If you are a foreign tourist, you have to show your passport), but we are residents of Japan. That’s like asking to see your Green Card while traveling within the United States. Despite being hotel guests and checked in before 3 pm, we were told we couldn’t have dinner at the hotel restaurant as it was already full. And local restaurants were impossible to get into without prior reservations. The room was very mediocre. Shower room had mold on the wall. Bleach should have been provided. Overall a terrible experience and will never return!

The staff at the reception was not very welcoming (all males), but those working at the morning buffet welcomed us with a warm smile and were extremely kind. Rooms are huge (compared to Japanese standards) but they should be renovated ASAP (especially the bathroom). The view from the open air hot spring is astonishing! Best choice to move around this cute gem, Amanohashidate definitely deserves a visit (and don't forget to have a walk around Ine village!)

Stayed for one night since Nov 18th 2021. Nice Onsen hotel with parking lot attached. Easy access from Amanohashidate station and the south side of the tourism spot. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. It mixed with Japanese style and American style. The onsen is great. Outside and sauna are very nice. A decent onsen hotel close to famous tourism spot with acceptable price. Great option for people who want to visit this place.
