★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 廃仏毀釈のためにかなり変動があったようです。
チョット寂しい感じを受けました。
紅葉は見事でした。チョット下がった所からは、富士山が望めました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 麓から参道を登りました。歴史を感じ今はトレッキング山歩きの人だけですが、往時の面影を残す門前や途中の遺構などがあります。思ったよりきつい登りが続き汗をかきますが、山頂手前に静かに秋葉寺は現れました。
立派な御朱印もいただきました。
車で行ける山頂の上社から下れば楽なコースですが、絶対歩いて登るべきです。

秋葉山下社から1時間15分位の秋葉山上社に登る間にあります。
よく？こんな登山道途中に(車もこれぬ)作ったなと不思議です。
馬馬車？ヘリコプター？牛馬車？
人運び？不思議です。
前までは人が常駐管理してたみたいですが！今回行った時は誰も居なく❗登山道で唯一トイレ?が有ったんですが、使用不可能になってました。?
入口に山門があり中々雰囲気の漂うお寺です。
皆さん立派なお寺維持に沢山のお布施を??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋葉寺は古来より秋葉三尺坊大権現を祀っていて、 秋葉山を支配していた寺院となります。
明治政府の神仏分離令により一度廃寺になりましたが、明治13年に再建を許され明治16年８合目に寺院を建立。三尺坊の御真躰は守るために秋葉総本殿可睡斎(曹洞宗)が引き取り現在も所有しています。
秋葉寺の仁王門の内部には阿形像と吽形像が納められています。
Akiha-ji Temple has been enshrining Akiha Sanshakubo Daigongen since ancient times and is the temple that dominated Mt. Akiha.
The temple was once abandoned due to the Meiji government's decree to separate Shinto and Buddhism, but it was allowed to be rebuilt in 1897 and the temple was built at the 8th station in 16th year of Meiji. Akiha Sohonden Akiha Sohonden (Soto Sect) took over the Sanshakubo's main shrine to protect it and still owns it.
Inside the Niomon Gate of Akiha-ji Temple, there are A-un and A-un statues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋葉寺と書いて「しゅうようじ」と読むそうです。
下の駐車場に車を停めて、割合急傾斜の道を登っていった先にあります。
手元のApple Watchでは111mから登り始めて862m秋葉神社に着くまでの道のりのうち、体感で8合目〜9合目くらいの位置に在りました。低山の部類に入ると思いますが，急坂が続くため、500m級の山をこなし、靴など必要装備を把握し揃えた上で登る方が良いです。水分、補給食品もあった方が良いでしょう。
ゴミは必ず持ち帰りましょう。
海抜500mくらいからは、旧お茶屋さん跡などいくつかのスポットを眺めた先に見えてくる門が印象的です。
願わくば、お茶屋さんには復活してもらい、登山道で疲れた人々を癒しつつ、富士山の眺望を堪能したいものです。
御朱印帳に記載してもらえます。
予約すれば、宿泊、精進料理も体験することができるそうです。
毎年12月には本祭？の火まつりがあり、火防を願う儀式があるようです。
お寺なのに、大権現と七福神の一柱である大黒天を前面に祀るなど、神仏習合の時代背景を強く感じますが、御本尊には菩薩様がいらっしゃるようです。
立ち寄った際には天候が悪く、時間もあまりなかったため、また参拝して、じっくり時代の流れなどを考えてみたいと思いました。

Is it the main festival every December? There is a fire festival, and there seems to be a ceremony to pray for fire protection.
Although it is a temple, it strongly feels the historical background of Shinto and Buddhism, such as enshrining Daikokuten, which is one of the pillars of Daikokuten and the Seven Lucky Gods, but it seems that there is a Bodhisattva in the principal image.
When I stopped by, the weather was bad and I didn't have much time, so I wanted to visit again and think about the trends of the times.
