明智町の中心部ではなく、すこし離れたところにあるため、明智町への観光と同時に訪れる人は少ないかも。
車を停めるスペースはあるので是非とも訪れてほしい

観光客の人は誰もいなかったのは残念でした。

天然記念物 団子杉
この杉は幹の周囲5.5米、樹高18.2米、枝張り東西、南北とも21米、地上3米あたりから38本もの横枝が四方に張り出し、樹形が団子のように丸味を呈していることからこの名が付けられた。嘉永4年（一八五一）の記録にも、団子杉と記されている。
樹齢約千年と伝えられ、さらに成長しつづけている。
天正二年（一五七四）武田勢の攻略によって、明智城城落の際、城主一行は愛巨の遺骸をこの地に葬ったとも伝えてられている。
この団子杉の近くの古沼は、明智城築城の際、城の水源とし、丸木樋を通して東の丸にある貯水池まで、飲料水を送った。

This cedar has 5.5 rice around the trunk, 18.2 rice in height, 21 rice in both east and west and north and south, 38 horizontal branches from 3 rice above the ground, and the shape of the tree is round like a dumpling. Was named after. In the record of Kaei 4th year (1851), it is written as dumpling cedar.
It is said that the tree is about 1000 years old, and it continues to grow.
It is said that the castle owners buried the remains of Aikyo at the time of the Akechi Castle castle, following the capture of the Takeda group in 1957.
The Konuma near the dumpling cedar served as the water source of the castle when the Akechi Castle was built, and sent drinking water to the reservoir in the Higashimaru through the Maruki gutter.

通常杉はまっすぐ1本に伸びると思ってましたが、他の木と同様枝を剪定しないとこうなるんでしょう。
杉は樟木等と同様に大樹で寿命も永く、各地で長寿の杉を見かけますが、左右対称で美しい樹形の杉はなかなか無いのでさらに1000年後も綺麗に残ってほしいです。

大正村の無料駐車場からウォーキングで、明智城を越えて散策しながら到着しましたので、感動が物凄くありました。
人もいないので、静かで良かったです。

I was very impressed because I arrived while walking over Akechi Castle from the free parking lot of Taishomura.
It was nice to be quiet because there were no people.
