北区の楠味鋺(くすのきあじま)に鎮座する味鋺神社(あじまじんじゃ)
本殿は、４本の柱を用いた柱間(はしらま)が３つの三間社(さんげんしゃ)の流造です♬
昔は檜皮葺(ひわだぶ)きの屋根とのことですが現在は銅板葺きの煌びやかな造りになっています。
創建年代は、不詳でありますが延喜式神名帳(901年～930年編纂)に尾張の国春日部群味鋺神社と記載されている古社です。
御祭神の宇麻志麻治命(うましまじのみこと)は、御子の味饒田命(まじにぎたのみこと)と共に、物部一族を率いて皇城の守護にあたり大政(おおまつりごと)に参与した一族です。その子孫がこの地に開拓をし、平和と繁栄を祈り、祖先を祀ったのが初まりとされています。
