The large hall is an opera house with a four-sided stage structure where full-scale opera can be performed. Both the stage and the audience seats are spacious and you can enjoy the view comfortably, but it is difficult to see the heads of people sitting in the front row after the second row of front seats on the 5th floor. The orchestra pit is hard to see in the front row, but the stage is clearly visible. If you lean forward to look into the pit, it will get in the way of the person sitting behind you, so you should refrain from doing so. The stage is almost invisible after the 8th row. The sound of the orchestra pit is not very good, but it flies well. To put it better, it's a refreshing sound. You can also feel the power. To put it badly, there is no moisture. The reverberation is not a concert hall, so it's short. However, if the sound of the pits sounds a little more plump, I think it's a pretty good theater. There are also many moving performances of world-famous opera houses such as the Roman Opera, Bavarian Opera, Metropolitan Opera, and Hamburg Opera, as well as performances sponsored by the theater. Puccini's "Turandot" (produced in November 1993 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of Fujisawa Citizen's Opera and the 25th anniversary of the opening of Fujisawa Citizen's Hall), which was performed in the large hall in July 1996, was directed by Yuzo Toyama. The Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra entered the pit. The Fujisawa City Concert Hall is so cramped that the legs and body cannot fit in the seats. A hall that is not suitable for viewing. I was very grateful to be able to appreciate it at this theater. The orchestra is also professional, so I was able to listen with confidence. (The performance hosted by Fujisawa City Concert Hall will feature rare opera works, but since Oke is an amateur group, it's a little unbearable to listen to. I can't enjoy it calmly.) The young Kazushi Ono also listened to "Don Giovanni," which focused on recitatives, and it was quite spectacular. The sound of the concert hall is wonderful. The reverberation is just the right length to clearly distinguish the sound. Due to the structure of the side seats, some stages cannot be seen, but they can be seen to some extent, so it is not so stressful to buy a ticket with advance knowledge. It looks much better than the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall. If you imagine from the seating plan, it's a fairly large hall and it's far from the stage, but in reality it's not so big, and the front seats are a stress-free hall where you can watch calmly without worrying about the head of the person in front.

Awesome sound system. And it is huge!!! Previously NHK building. I enjoyed the ambience and symphonic orchestra performance there.

The theatre has a gorgeous design and the technology and sound system is also good. The upper seating is a bit off set so some people couldn’t see the stage very well.

As always, a wonderful show, with great performances from the ballet company (Sochi International) and the orchestra.
