A museum of Yayoi period ruins in a corner of the park. It's not such a big exhibition space, but it's a beautiful new facility. I think that those who are interested in ancient times can enjoy this facility. It used to be the sea up to this point. There is a parking lot in front of the building entrance, but the number of cars that can be parked is not so large.

Stilt warehouses and pit-house dwellings have been restored in the park. There are many exhibits such as excavated earthenware and ancient tools, and ancient Mania is full of highlights.

Relics and excavated items from the Asahi site of the Yayoi period, which is the oldest in Aichi prefecture, are on display. It seems that the results of excavations and surveys can be seen through dioramas, etc. over the course of 50 years. It seems that various experience programs are held regularly, so if you are interested, I think it is better to check in advance before visiting.

A small but beautiful facility that has just been created. Not only the exhibition but also the restored products can be actually touched. Even though it was small with dotaku, I was surprised that it was heavy! The outdoor exhibition can also be used as a park. And there were even original goods.

It is the largest Yayoi period ruins in the Tokai region. There is a parking lot on the premises, and there are about 15 cars. Thanks to the high groundwater level, many perishable wood products have been excavated. There is also a shell mound, and if you come here, you can study various ancient times. The museum is new and is an exhibition where you can understand the life of the Yayoi period. There is also a space for children, and the restoration of earthenware that sticks with magnets can be an interesting experience.

First, take a walk through the Asahi ruins, which are maintained like a park. The shell mound, pit-house dwelling, stilt warehouse, and moated settlement are reproduced. It feels good to have a very laid-back atmosphere. You may bring your lunch on a sunny day. Then, I stopped by the Historic Site Shell Mountain Shell Mound Exchange Center. The highlight is the two human bones excavated from this site. Discovered after 2000 years. This person is quite happy to be beautifully preserved and exhibited. There is also a fault model of the shell mound, but it is thicker than I expected. It seems that it was just a garbage dump, not a collection of shells for use. After thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere of the ruins, head to the Asahi Museum. There are two exhibition rooms in a clean facility. One room is a big diorama, a video that animates the life at that time, and a panel explanation that explains it in an easy-to-understand manner even for amateurs. This is excellent. Life in the Yayoi era (Chinese Warring States-Han-Sangoku era) hasn't changed much, just because the tools around it are different. Make tools such as earthenware, copperware, and ironware, dress up with clothes and decorations, and hunt, rice, rituals, prayers, mourn, and fight. It's the same as what you're doing. It seems to be unexpectedly cramped. After all, Amore Cantale Mangiare, the Italian culture of loving, singing and eating is the best in human history. I was attracted to the pottery with a circular window peculiar to this region. There is a round hole in the jar, but for some reason it is unknown. It would be more interesting if such a mystery remained. People at that time wouldn't have imagined that the people of the future 2000 years later would be worried about how to use it. I also learned about dotaku for the first time when it was on display, but this is an instrument. bell. No, it will be studying We asked a curator to explain the Kids Archeology Lab. Touch the plows and hoe made of palm trees, and the mortars and pestle made of camellia trees. In addition, stone axes, iron axes, and ornaments were also found nearby. It was a surprisingly interesting experience because I always just looked at the exhibition through the glass. Complete Nagoya's Three Great History Museums. Experience the Aichi Asahi Site Museum (Yayoi period), Nagoya City Miharashidai Archaeological Museum (Yayoi period and the Pacific War)! Shidami Kofun Group Museum (Kofun period). The Yayoi period and the Kofun period are hard to grasp, but if you think of them as the Warring States-Han-Three Kingdoms period and the Sixteen Kingdoms-Nanbokucho period of China, you can understand them. Thinking this way, Chinese civilization is amazing.

Really it was interesting! !! The exhibition is easy to understand even for small children! The explanation of the diorama is also good! Adults can also enjoy the kids' corner! Even earthenware puzzles have a good taste and are very fun! (Quite difficult) All the staff are kind and the facilities are beautiful and recommended!

Quite small but certainly worth checking out. Some great Yayoi period pottery and artifacts. The reconstructed architecture is quite nice and gives a picture of how people lived in the period. Won't take a lot of time to go through so bring a lunch and picnic in the park area.
