祭神は大己貴神（おおなむちのかみ）、大国主のことですね。
漁師たちの安泰と大漁を見守っています。
茨城県稲敷市阿波にある大杉神社と関係があると思われます。

It seems to be related to Osugi Shrine in Aba, Inashiki City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 安波明神とは海神信仰の神で、あんば、安場、安波、大杉などの名称があります。
元々の語源は網場（あみば）と思われ、漁の神様です。この神社のように安波という当て字も使われることから航海安全の神様としての側面も持つようになりました。
あんば様をなぜ大杉と称することがあるのかは分かりません。
Awa Myojin is a god of sea deity, and has names such as Anba, Aba, Awa, and Osugi.
The original etymology is thought to be Amiba, the god of fishing. Like this shrine, the Ateji character is also used, so it has an aspect as a god of nautical safety.
I don't know why the pommel horse is sometimes called Osugi.
