日暮里舎人ライナーの西新井大師西駅から割と近く、ベルクス、スギ薬局、ゲオも近所にあり、すぐ近くに広めの公園もあって、児童館での室内遊びにあきたら外遊びに、と子連れに有り難い立地です。
コロナ禍で、幼児向けの午前中の利用は予約が必要になり、気軽に遊びに行けなくなってしまったのが残念。。
子どもの顔や名前を覚えてくれている先生がいて、会えると嬉しい。規模も小さく、アットホームな印象です。
ただ、以前から空手かテコンドーかの子ども教室を夕方から夜の９時頃までしていて、現在はコロナ禍で閉館が早まったのか教室がある時は夜８時過ぎ頃から外で練習しているようで、大人数での大声が響いてくるのがちょっと…
コロナ禍でも集まって大声出すんだーと思うのと、申し訳ないですが、幼い子がいておねむの時間も早いため静かに練習してほしいです。
前に、通りかかってどんな感じなんだろうと見た時に、先生らしき黒帯の男性が５〜６才位の女の子の頭を叩いて、泣いた子を怒鳴っている場面を目撃した事があり、いつもではなくたまたまかもしれませんが、恐ろしくて極力関わり合いたくはありません(-_-;)
大通りから中に入った住宅地で、基本的に車や救急車以外では夜は静かな場所だと思うので、近隣の迷惑にならないように貸し出す団体への注意を行ってほしいです。
