が	がらん【まこと】“がらん” on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天保13年（1842）築造の富士塚。西向き天神の境内の南西角の崖線上にあります。富士東側には天神境内との間に児童遊園があり、簡易トイレもあります。往時崖下は歌舞伎町方面から流れる小川と、新宿二丁目太宗寺裏から流れる小川が合流して、紀州家下屋敷（戸山広遠箱根山下）を経由、早稲田で神田川と合流していました。この付近には水田が広がっていましたが、今は建て込んでまあ見る影もありませんね。夏は木が繁ってわかりずらいですが、葉の少ない冬場には、天神小前の通りや、文化エンター通りに面する駐車場から、冨士塚の威容が垣間見ることができ往時をしのべます。天神の境内、児童遊園からは富士山頂は残念ながら目線の高さになっています。富士講碑もけっこう多いようですが、フェンスで立ち入ることができません。 Fujizuka built in 1842 (Tenpo 13). G	Gen Tamura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東大久保２丁目にある西向天神社は安貞２年(1282)に、京都栂尾の明恵上人(1173～1232)が東国に五大尊寺を開こうとして、菅原道真自作の尊像を持って下向し、翌年当地の村人と計って祠堂を建てて鎮守としたことにはじまるといわれています。古来より東大久保村の鎮守社であり、社殿が西を向いていることから西向天神と呼ばれています。この神社の境内には「東大久保富士」と呼ばれる富士塚が所在します。境内西南隅の、崖に面した斜面の突端に築かれており、ボク石で固められています。塚は、崖の斜面をボク石で覆って富士塚の延長としており、崖の下から見上げると、高さ約10メートルほどの巨大な富士塚の姿を見ることが出来ます。四谷谷町丸谷講により、天保13年(1843)に築造された富士塚です。 Nishimukiten Shrine, located in 2-chome, Okubo, Kyoto, went down with a statue of Sugawara no Michizane in the 2nd year of Antei (1282) when Myoe Shonin (1173-1232) of Kyoto Kabuo tried to open the Godaisonji Temple in the east. The mound is an extension of Fujizuka with the slope of the cliff covered with stones, and when you look up from the bottom of the cliff, you can see a huge Fujizuka with a height of about 10 meters. Fujizuka was built in 1843 by Marutani Ko, Yotsuya Town.
ふ	ふじ丸 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西向天神社から観る富士塚は小さく見えるが、丘を利用しているので、裏に回って階段下から眺めれば、大きな富士塚が現れる（○_○）！！柵があり入山登頂は出来ないが、富士山の溶岩で出来ている立派な富士塚でした(o^-')b ! The Fujizuka seen from Nishimukiten Shrine looks small, but since it uses a hill, if you turn to the back and look at it from the bottom of the stairs, a large Fujizuka will appear (○ _ ○)! !! There is a fence and you can't climb the mountain, but it was a magnificent Fujizuka made of lava from Mt. Fuji (o ^-') b!
き	きじばる潜狸 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西向天神社内の富士塚です。境内内の公園から見ると岩を重ねた小山程度で登ることは出来ませんが、山吹坂になっている神社の下から階段を上って見上げると、大きな富士塚に見られ、『見立て』の妙が感じられる作りとなっています。大聖院は瀟洒な作りで、西向天神社の境内の木々も刈込が深く、経営の苦しさを感じますが、そうした中での工夫を感じさせられるところは見事だと思います。 …この富士塚が造立された時にはもう少し栄えていたかもしれませんが、今の風景と不思議とマッチする富士塚であります。 This is Fujizuka in Nishimukitenjin.
