★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 『平民宰相』と呼ばれた、第１９代内閣総理大臣原敬閣下の墓所です。
原総理は内閣制度で初の爵位（公侯伯子男）を持たない総理大臣であったため、平民宰相と呼ばれました。
また、衆議院に議席を持つ政党の党首として初の政党内閣から誕生した総理大臣でもあります（国会答弁で一人称「私し」も初）。
在職中には軍事予算の拡大、高等教育の拡充、選挙制度改革に取り組みました。また、皇太子裕仁殿下（後の昭和天皇）の欧州歴訪を薦めた人物でもあります。
大正10年11月4日山手線大塚駅職員の中岡艮一により、東京駅で刺殺されました。
逝去日に遡り正二位大勲位菊花大綬章に列せられています。
It is a grave of the 19th Prime Minister and Minister Takahara Hara, who was called the "common people minister".
Prime Minister Prime Minister Hara was called the Prime Minister, since he was the first Prime Minister who did not have the first resignation position in the cabinet system.
He is also the Prime Minister who was born from the first party cabinet as the leader of a party that holds a seat in the House of Representatives (the first person in the Diet's reply "first").
While in office, he worked to expand the military budget, expand higher education, and reform the electoral system. He is also the person who recommended Prince Hirohito Hirohito (later Emperor Showa) to visit Europe.
It was stabbed at Tokyo Station by Yuichi Nakaoka, an officer of Yamanote Line Otsuka Station, on November 4 in 1923.
It is lined up in the second rank large honorable order chrysanthemum 大 綬 on the day of the death date.
