★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さいころから建っている石碑ですが、意外と悲しい事件が裏にあって、地元なのでたまーに訪れたくなります。畑の中にあるのでちょっと行くのに勇気がいるかもしれませんが、別に誰も怒らないです。ですが畑を踏み荒らすのは気を付けましょう。
近くはとても道路が狭い地帯なのでバイクか自転車、徒歩がおススメです。
分かりずらいですが、標識が建っているのでそれを参考にすると良いです。
たまに夏は大きい蜘蛛の巣が張っていて引っかかったりするので、それも気を付けましょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 民間初の宙返り飛行を成功させた山縣豊太郎の殉空の地です。大正９年８月２９日に連続３回宙返りの際に翼が折れ、錐揉みしながら鷺沼の畑に墜落しました。
石碑への行き方がわかりにくいですが、ガソリンスタンドの脇の坂から案内の標識に従い進んで行くと畑の中にあります。
