★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平成31年４月14日に、県内寄港過去最大となるクルーズ船「ダイヤモンド・プリンセス」が新潟港に寄港しました。続いて、４月30日に、現在日本に寄港する最大のクルーズ船「クァンタム・オブ・ザ・シーズ」が寄港。岸壁を一般開放し、クルーズ船乗客の皆様の歓迎やお見送りを実施。また、クルーズ船乗客の皆様は、観光バスで北方文化博物館、彌彦神社、県央地区産業観光（三条市・燕市）、新潟ふるさと村等を訪れ、新潟県の魅力を楽しまれたようです。
