★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道路から見てちょっと奥にあって目立ちにくいかもしれませんが、とても素敵な像です。
 It may be a little hidden from the road, but it is a very nice statue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西荻窪には「西荻窪六童子」という像が、六ヶ所に分かれてあります。
町おこし的な目的で設置された物だと思います。作者は「せんとくん」などで有名な、彫刻家の籔内佐斗司氏。
この童子像シリーズもせんとくんのような印象的な顔で、六ヶ所それぞれで様々なポージングをしているのが何とも可愛らしくて愛着が湧きます。
こちらの「龍神童子」は、西荻北中央公園内にあります。
他の童子像は、西荻窪駅南口にある「花の童子」、西荻南児童公園にある「おすもう童子」、地蔵坂交差点近くの荻窪中学校前の通りにある「縁結び童子」、井荻公園にある「大朝露童子」、西荻区民センター前にある「上向き童子」です。
In Nishi-Ogikubo, there is an image of “Nishi-Ogikubo Rokudo” divided into six locations.
I think that it was set up for the purpose of the town. The author is Mr. Soji Tsujiuchi, a sculptor famous for “Sento-kun”.
This Doji statue series also has an impressive face like Sento-kun, and it is pretty cute and loving to have various poses at each of the six locations.
This "Ryujin Doji" is located in Nishiboku-kita Central Park.
Other children's statues are "Hana no Doji" at Nishi-Ogikubo Station South Exit, "Osmo Doji" at Nishi-Ogakunan Children's Park, "Ensyu Douji" on the street in front of Ogikubo Junior High School near Jizouzaka Intersection It is a “Daiko-ro Doji” in the city, and an “Upward Douji” in front of the Nishimuro Ward Center.
