徒歩圏内に住んでいますが、未だにまじまじと見たことがありません(^^;
For giant fans, it seems that there is no such thing as an “irresistible place”. There seems to be no place where young people are particularly interested.
I live within walking distance, but I have never seen it seriously (^^;

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近場に行くことがあり寄ってみました。普通の住宅街の公園の中の一角にありました。モニュメント以外は何もありません。
でも巨人軍の始まりがここにあると思うと感慨深いです。
I sometimes went to a nearby place and tried to stop by. It was in a corner of a park in an ordinary residential area. There is nothing but a monument.
But I'm deeply moved to think that the beginning of the Giants is here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 谷津遊園地内にあった球場で日米の試合が行われた所で遊園地閉園後バラ園となり試合が行われた事を記念してここに碑が建てられた。(遊園地のころは菊人形展など行われ多くの人で賑わっていた)
A monument was erected here to commemorate the match between Japan and the United States at the stadium in Yatsu Amusement Park, which became a rose garden after the amusement park closed. (At the time of the amusement park, a chrysanthemum doll exhibition was held and it was crowded with many people)

薔薇園入り口の右隣にあります。
巨人軍のスター選手の手型もあります。
Arrive in about 10 minutes on foot south from Keisei Yatsu Station.
It is on the right side of the rose garden entrance.
There is also a hand model of a Giants star player.

習志野市谷津…巨人軍との関わりがあるのか！？と思いましたが石碑を読んで納得しました。
往年の名選手の手形があるので自分的にはアガりましたが、前の時代を知らない人が行ったら少し微妙かも知れません。
でも長嶋茂雄さん、王貞治さん、原辰徳監督など誰でも知ってる方々もあったので近いのであれば行ってみて下さい。

Yatsu, Narashino City ... Is it related to the Giants? ?? I thought, but I read the stone monument and was convinced.
I was afraid because of the handprints of the famous players of yesteryear, but it may be a little subtle if someone who does not know the previous era goes.
However, there were people who knew Shigeo Nagashima, Sadaharu Oh, Tatsunori Hara, etc., so if you are close, please go.
