地味な公園で普段は近所の人が散歩している程度で観光客などはほとんど来ませんが、古い桜の木が多く、花見の穴場です。
It is one of the Tanabata legends of Hirakata Katano.
In a quiet park, the neighborhood people usually take a walk and few tourists come, but there are many old cherry trees and it is a great place to see cherry blossoms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天の川七夕伝説では彦星と織姫が天の川に架かる逢合橋で7月7日に会うことになっている。牽牛石(けんぎゅうせき)は観音山公園(中山観音寺跡)にあり、織女石(たなばたせき)は星田妙見宮にある。織女石と書いて(たなばたせき)と読むから彦星と織姫をお祀りしている。では、織姫石はどこにあるのか!?伝説が出来上がった時代の機物神社は境内が広く交野山(こうのさん)の観音岩が御神体だったのではないかと、観音岩こそが織姫石だったに違いないと、思いを馳せるのも良いものです。
According to the Milky Way Tanabata legend, Hikoboshi and Orihime will meet on July 7th at the Aai Bridge over the Milky Way. Kengyuseki is located in Kannonyama Park (Ruins of Nakayama Kannonji Temple), and Orijoishi is located in Hoshida Myokengu. It is written as Orijoishi and read as (Tanabataseki), so it enshrines Hikoboshi and Orihime. Then, where is Orihime stone !? The precincts of the Hatamono Shrine at the time when the legend was completed were wide, and the Kannon rock of Koyasan might have been the sacred body, and Kannon rock was the Orihime stone. It's good to think that it must be.
