★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Morning(7:00am) and evening service (4:30pm) are conducted every day and open to public. Visitors can also walk around the facilities and take pictures freely. What a generosity and openess!!! They have also various events, study courses, and workshops throughout the year. It will be much better to go the website before you go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Buddhist temple located near Tsukiji Fish market. Much larger than most temples and shines and incredibly week detailed. Lovely courtyard out front with gravesite of respected individuals

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ✔️The staffs at the entrance are welcoming visitors and distributing phamplets about the temple.
✔️Inside was a highly ornate stage, all golden. Perfectly kept in condition.
✔️Access is free and open, and you feel welcome to stay and enjoy the peace.
✔️Religious activities are happening whilst you visit, but it all feels calm and inclusive.
✔️Wheelchair accessible entrance.
✔️And the huge area in front of the temple offers plenty of angles for the photographer.
✔️It is also a very nice break from the hustle/bustle of the street and Tsukiji Fish market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tsukiji Hongwan-ji is a jodo Shinshu Buddhist temple that uses an attractive Indian style facade and interior that is different from other traditional jodo shinshu temples. This temple was burned down and finally reconstructed. However, the beauty of this temple is still extraordinary.

I think it must be a worth place for spending quality time with family and kids. even it’s not far from stations. there are food courts near by the spot that would make a visitor enjoy real japanese test.
