★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代には玉川上水から小金井村に水を引いていた分水路があり、水車が数多く残っていた。
この水車跡は島崎水車と呼ばれ、砂川用水を利用したもので明治期にはつき臼をしていたようです。
現在、用水には水はなく、細い路を隔てて住宅が並ぶ。
 In the Edo period, there was a diversion channel that drew water from Tamagawa Josui to Koganei Village, and many water wheels remained.
This water wheel trace is called Shimazaki water wheel, and it uses Sunagawa irrigation water, and it seems that it was a mortar in the Meiji era.
Currently, there is no water in the irrigation water, and houses are lined up across narrow roads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 確かに「水車跡」です。案内の看板がなければわかりません。AR(拡張現実：Augmented Reality)の技術を使って、水車を再現できればなあ‥と思いました。
It is certainly a "water wheel trace". I don't know without the signboard. I wish I could reproduce the water turbine using AR (Augmented Reality) technology.
