★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought 1 momento Japanese knife here with the Japanese style (light) timber handle. The staff were kind and talked through the knives to make sure we didn't buy something we would use incorrectly. They have a card as well to try interpret what they mean when explaining knives (eg. For vegetable and meat but not for cutting bones). Didn't feel like a tourist trap. Can't wait to slice my arm off when I'm back home with it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love to shop here, their service are great and try assist me in my knife selections. One of the lady staff really good in explaining the knives and understand what I need. I ended up buying two knives from them. I be back for this store again in future if visit Osaka next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the knife shops located in Osaka. Smaller than the rest but the staff were very helpful and patient in answering all my questions. Give them a price range, purpose, style and they'll point you towards a few knives. Also appreciate they do not try to upsell. Knives are limited in selection vs other stores but maybe this helps narrow down your purchase quicker.
The staff also took the time to explain how to sharpen the type of knife I purchased (a right handed knife). Overall a smooth service and definitely would recommend. Staff speaks a little English depending on who you get. Not an issue if using Google translate for example.
They also take the time to wrap up the boxes and provide tax free documents for declaration.
