Upon my first visit, I was told that I would need to take a test to get a “Yellow Card” to take a test to get an interview... somewhat confusing, but I went along with it. After getting the yellow card, I was told the interview was on a different day. I came back on the interview date and took the 2nd test. I failed that test, but was offered an interview for a restaurant. I accepted the interview and declined that job. After the interview was over, my contact told me I would need a membership card for future interviews. The membership fee was ¥5,000, which I paid. I scheduled another interview for another job on a different day. I Came back and took the test. This time I passed and was interviewed for a construction job. I was offered the job from the construction company boss. I went and toured the city the job was in. I thought that I finally found a job. Then I went back to Asian Group Monday. That is when the ball dropped and Asian Group informed me that to start working, I would need to pay them around ¥200,000. At first, I didn’t know what to think. I took the paperwork and walked out. For those who don’t know, recruitment companies do not charge those seeking employment for their services. The next day, I was contacted by the construction boss and he asked me about the job. When I told him that they wanted to charge me, he couldn’t believe it. Turns out that they charged him around ¥250,000 for their services. This company is a scam, stay away.
