愛知県常滑市のりんくう海浜緑地。中部国際空港「セントレア」の対岸に造られた人工海浜である。人工海浜の長さは630mで、東海地区では最大級を誇る。ビーチからは飛行機が間近に見え、伊勢湾を照らす夕日を売りにしている。だが、CODは5.000mg/リットルと、全国で最悪だった。
愛知県の海水浴場はりんくう海浜緑地を含めワースト10のうち、実に7カ所を占める結果になった。順番に見ていこう。3位は常滑市の大野でCODは4.200mg/リットル。4位は西尾市の宮崎と蒲郡市の三河大島東浜が同着で、3.767mg/リットル。8位は西尾市の恵比寿で3.633mg/リットル。9位は常滑市の坂井で3.533mg/リットル。10位は西尾市の寺部で3.500mg/リットルだった。
愛知県の海水浴場は 汚れた水が入れ替わらない
愛知県が汚い海水浴場のワースト10をほぼ独占する格好となった。なぜ水質がここまで悪くなってしまったのか。
海の汚れは陸上から流れてくる。愛知県は人口が全国で4位だ。自動車産業の中心地で、有力なメーカーが多い。人が住み生産活動を行えば生活排水や工場排水が発生するため、汚れた水が海流で入れ替わらなければ、蓄積してしまうのである。

1st worst in Japan
Rinku beach green area in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture. It is an artificial beach built on the opposite bank of "Centrair" at Chubu International Airport. The artificial beach has a length of 630m, making it one of the largest in the Tokai area. From the beach you can see an airplane up close and the sunset over Ise Bay is for sale. However, the COD was 5.000 mg/liter, the worst in the whole country.
Aichi Prefecture's beaches occupy 7 places out of the 10 worst including Rinku beach green areas. Let's look at them in order. The third place is Ono in Tokoname City with a COD of 4.200 mg/liter. 4th place was Miyazaki in Nishio City and Mikawa Oshima Higashihama in Gamagori City with 3.767mg/l. Ebisu in Nishio City is ranked 8th with 3.633 mg/liter. 9th place is Sakai in Tokoname city with 3.533 mg/liter. The tenth place was 3.500 mg/liter in Terabe, Nishio City.
Dirty water cannot be replaced at beaches in Aichi Prefecture

Dirty water flows from land. Aichi Prefecture has the fourth largest population in Japan. At the center of the automobile industry, there are many leading manufacturers. If people live and carry out production activities, domestic wastewater and factory wastewater will be generated, and dirty water will accumulate unless it is replaced by ocean currents.
