★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 準大手ゼネコン。なぜ倉敷支店が存在しているのかといえば、歴史的に倉敷の仕事が多いからだろう。創業者が日銀本店の建設に従事したこともあり、旧日銀岡山支店(現在のルネスホール)を手がけ、次に旧第一合同銀行本店(現在の中国銀行倉敷本町出張所、登録有形文化財)を手がけ、その縁で大原孫三郎と懇意になり、大原美術館やその門前の今橋に倉敷中央病院と大原家由来の仕事が続く。近年でもクラレ玉島や倉中の増改築を受託している。そのほか、倉敷消防署やサブリーナタウン(現在のゆめタウン倉敷)も手がけた。藤木工務店は日銀や中銀の経験をきっかけに戦後しばらくまで銀行建築を多く手がけ、また、現在でも医療・介護施設の実績は豊富だ。歴史的建造物の移築・
