The staff is friendly, and it was quite full and had a good number of regular patrons, judging from the talk between the staff and customers. All told, a great atmosphere with some interesting menu choices and reasonable prices. Not sure when I'll be in the area again, but I'll go back if I can.

We were there over an hour without receiving 2 of the 4 dishes we ordered while other local customers were receiving food promptly after ordering. When we asked for the check after not receiving our food the owner shrugged his shoulders and laughed.

The staff was super friendly and did their best to communicate with us in English and did not make fun of our terrible attemps at speaking Japanese. The green onion chicken yakatori was amazing. The meatball with cheese had the perfect texture. The neck meat had awesome flavor. The deep fried garlic, deep fried sweet potato, sake and beer were also highlights. Our food bar is set really high for the rest of the trip.
