★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great theater to watch a movie in, located in the aeon mall at Kyoto Station. The only downside to this cinema is that there is only 2d screens so no IMAX or 4XD.
Other than that a great place to watch a movie with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out while I vacationed in Kyoto. Good service. Close to Kyoto station. Shows both popular Japanese and American movies in both English and Japanese. Easy access by foot.
Concessions ok. Popcorn was not fresh but it was cheap so hey you get what you get. But Americans should be used to larger popcorn sizes.
Sorry, unless you go to Toho, you won't get find any mega sized popcorn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an average movie Japanese movie Theatre. The location from the Kyoto station is really nice along with it located around many shops and restaurants (on lower floors). The price is an average Japanese movie price (1800 for normal admission). The downside of this Theatre is that the seats and the screens are not very big or fancy like some of the bigger theaters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do have english movies. You can ask but most of them dont understand english. Use Google Translate to type and show the Cashier, they will in turn point at which one is in English. Pick your seat and enjoy. Watched Player One there.
