Doesn't compare to high end sushi joints but you get what you pay for.
$31 for the platter is a great deal.
I'm normally here just for the fatty tuna, my recommendation is just go with the full blue fin tuna set.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for very decent sushi especially in a tourist area. Worth a visit if you've got a craving as there are quite a few options available from nigiri to maki. The clam based miso is great (if you like clams). Also the restaurant is non smoking for those who prefer. The pricing isn't half bad either.

I also ordered a fatty tuna sushi, but it disappointed me a bit because there was an unchewable tendon/string down the middle and it took forever to swallow it. Otherwise, it was a good experience. There was a kind waiter who made it better because he could speak English, and constantly came by to ensure I was doing ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shared the giant tomahawk for my birthday. Slightly over cooked but still tender and delicious. The garlic pepper cream sauce was really really good. Will return for a regular steak dinner in the future.
