★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 丘の上の館城としてその規模には驚かされる。 居館の南に主郭・二郭・三郭が東西に並び、主郭の北に四郭が挟まれている。 ただ浅学の為、縄張り図と自分の立ち位置を把握しきれず、どこを撮った写真か分からないものがある始末。
 As a castle on a hill, you will be amazed at its scale. The main enclosure, the second enclosure, and the third enclosure are lined up in the east and west to the south of the residence, and the four enclosures are sandwiched to the north of the main enclosure. Because of the shallow learning, I couldn't grasp the rope tension map and my standing position, and I couldn't figure out where the picture was taken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I visited (20 March 2022), signposts for the recommended walking route through the site were being positioned by the site's conservator, and these should make the visitor's experience better - I had to rely on the guide map from the handout box beside the Shishiudo community center to navigate. This site is quite large: really there are two sites - a temporary castle, built to the north, and the castle proper to the south. As is typical with most Sengoku-period castle ruins, no stonework remains, but the earthen foundations for the walls and some of the buildings are very easy to discern, so there is little difficulty in ascertaining the overall layout. I look forward to visiting again when further conservation work has been done on the site.
