It is a beautiful gymnasium. It is air-conditioned and is ideal for summer practice. A sheet is prepared to close the ventilation opening so that it will not be affected by the wind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 曽我川体育館にある、ミズノのジムは「心開いて鍵閉めよう」という張り紙に象徴されるお年寄りの社交場。常に騒々しく、数少ないマシンをベンチ代わりに雑談していても、係員は注意しないどころか、一緒になってしゃべっている。軽い運動しかしないお年寄りと棒立ちの係員にあわせて室温が高い。７月に冷房を入れて欲しいと要望したら「今年はまだ熱中症の人が出ていないから大丈夫」と言われ唖然。冬でも半そで＆うちわの人多数でも暖房ガンガン。クールダウンはロビー（無暖房）か帰宅後になる。ただし、料金の割には、ロッカーやシャワーがちゃんとあるので、忍耐力のあるガチ勢orおしゃべり大好きな年配者にはオススメ。
Mizuno's gym in the Sogagawa Gymnasium is an elderly social hall symbolized by a sticker that says “Open your mind and lock your key.” Even though it was always noisy and chatting on a few machines instead of a bench, the staff members talked together, rather than paying attention. The room temperature is high according to the elderly and stickers who only have a light exercise. When I asked for air-conditioning in July, I was stunned to be told, “There are no people with heat stroke this year. Even in winter, half-sleeve & many people with fan can be heated. Cool down is in the lobby (no heating) or after returning home. However, there are lockers and showers for the price, so it is recommended for patience and seniors who love chatting.
