Best Local history museum in japan

A	Ade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sendai Castle, or more accurately the remains, was amazing. The building itself doesn't exist anymore, but it was built in an excellent location from which you can see the entire city. You can even see Daikannon in the distance. We went on a relatively warm day, but even then there was still snow on the ground so I imagine it would be pretty chilly in winter and on cold days, due to the altitude and being so exposed. You really can see everything. The grounds also have a few shrines, and if you explore a bit further you can find some restaurants and souvenir places. Of particular note is the Zunda Shake; a soybean milkshake. You cannot leave this place without trying it, you will kick yourself. The Sendai Loople bus tour/ride stops here, so it's relatively easy to get to, just catch the bus from Sendai Station.

There's a museum by the gift shop which is quite small but interesting. You can reach the main gate with the Loople Sendai bus but it's a very nice walk up the hill from the Sendai city museum.

C	Ceco23 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a tourist attraction place. The view from the top is awesome. There is shopping area where you can enjoy Sendai’s popular deserts. There is a temple as well. You can get there by bus or by your car. Date Masamune’s statue is worth to see.

For reviews, check others’ not mine! All i can see is that it is one of my spot for hang out! I feel attracted to one of the eagle statue that stand erected and has escaped all natural disasters (mostly earthquakes). It is one of the power spot! The castle ruins are easily reached by the local sightseeing bus “Loople Sendai” which does a circuit around the city centre of Sendai. But otherwise, It’s a walking distance (20-30 min walk from Tohoku university, Katahira campus). I love the view of Sendai city from there. The castle hill overlooking the Sendai city is just popular for its panoramic night views but you can come here anytime to enjoy beautiful view by yourself or with your lover.
