また、昭和の有名総理大臣、田中角栄氏の記念館もありますので、出かけてみてはいかがでしょうか。
道の駅自体は影が薄い印象です。

中国的な 建物と どっしりした
建物と 離れた所に やや旧式な
トイレと やっているかわからない
販売所でした
なので 田中角栄記念館に
入りました

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021.8月訪問。旧西山町の道の駅が中国を移設したような場所で凄かった。西遊記の世界感が漂う名スポットだ。道の駅じゃないなこれはと思ったけど、これはこれで驚いたので良かった。まだ行ったことがない県民は行ってみるといいぜ。
Visited in August 2021. It was amazing at the place where the roadside station of the former Nishiyama-cho relocated China. It is a famous spot with a sense of the world of Nishiyuki. I thought it wasn't a roadside station, but I was surprised at this, so I'm glad. If you haven't been there yet, you should go.

公園の中に、中国風の派手な感じの建物があって、孫悟空をイメージしてと書いてありました。
今、イルミネーションしてる感じでした。
夜行くとキレイかもしれません?
道の駅は、キレイで「未来ポスト」という白いポストが置いてありました。
スタッフさんが親切でした。
