Locality was great with express buses to access to other prefecture such like to Tokyo and Aomori. last, it is convenient for a traveller like me. so will come back and stay when in Niigata.

Really perfect location. Room is clean but quite small, you are not able to keep open your suitcase on the floor lol. The bathroom is really tiny... and ancient … I think that was a negative impact on the opinion. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese style and western foods. I prefer the Japanese breakfast, rices and fried pork chops are excellent! If you just want a place to stay overnight, this hotel is not deluxe but comfortable. And location is convenient.

Thanks to the receptionist who couldn't understand my simple question in Japanese, the rooms were all gone by the time I tried to book it online. She & an old man spent more than 5 mins poring over the computer screen for goodness knows what.. When I repeated my question, she frantically called another girl over who answered my question in less than 1 minute. It's OK she didn't understand my question, but then she didn't clarify, & just wasted my time, so I lost my booking.
S	Seth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place isn't bad for the price (Go To Travel helped). Although the building is a bit old, it was very clean and the staff were polite. The room was plenty large for a single person and the water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast is buffet style and had a large selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. Quite tasty although the coffee could be a bit better. There are many restaurants and izakayas around, and the bus station is right across the street which provides easy transportation all around the city.
