R	Ryogoku on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review here is based solely on lunch time. This is one of my favorite go to spots in ginza for lunch. Why? Because ¥1000 for beef tongue set, Harami set, or wagyu set is such a great deal. I usually get the beef tongue, but today I opt in for a new special. It’s supposed to be parts of wagyu a5 set but more leaner(see pic below). A little bit more chewy, but more flavor i think. They also come with rice and soup which you refill as much as you can. I recommend to get here before noon to skip the lines or past 1 when it’s dying down. They close lunch at 2pm.

We chose the 1kg T-bone and mixed part set that the waiter suggested which is limited on that day only. The waiter explained the parts of beef we are eating and helped us to roast the T-bone. The beef was really delicious and worth the price. We also ordered a cold tomato. It was refreshing and goes well with the beef. Overall, the food is really good and worth the price. The service also make us tourists feel very comfortable. The waiter even suggested us some place to visit later on. This restaurant is worth going and we will come again next time when we visit Tokyo.

A bit noisy due to their tradition to shout and play the taiko each time someone orders the most expensive tasting platter... which is quite frequent among the touristy crowd. Not on the cheap side at dinner time. Might try again for lunch.
