The food was delicious. It's a shop with many locals. It was a bar that reminded us of our favorite shop. Itabasa kamaboko was fresh and good!

安定の居酒屋メニューという感じながらもミノの天ぷらや焼き青とう、ナスギョーザ等、ちょっと気になるメニューが有り楽しめました。
An izakaya where locals stop by to wait for a night bus.
Although it feels like a stable izakaya menu, I enjoyed the menus such as Mino's tempura, grilled blue tofu, and eggplant gyosa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This izakaya is owned by an incredibly cute old couple and serves delicious food in a small town atmosphere. We went back for a second night and they were very welcoming and happy to see us again!

they don't have english menu but they are more than happy to assist you. the outside door is closed but you can open it, that wasn't obvious for us.
the place feels nice and familiar, I really liked the atmosphere there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For starters, the atmosphere of this restaurant feels very cozy and traditional. This establishment meets the definition of a true “Mom-and-Pop” shop. The dishes were delicious, although I thought that the portions were a bit small for the price... But anyways, the level of customer service was exceptional-prompt and courteous. If you are ever in Kyoto, I would highly recommend a visit to this izakaya.
