新潟検疫所 では、海外で発生している感染症が、国内に侵入することを予防 するために、活動しています。
海外渡航する方に、黄熱の予防接種をするように呼び掛けています。
検疫所でも実施してもらえるようです。
黄熱の国際証明書が発行されます。
・証明書は、接種当日に発行します。
・証明書の有効期間は、平成２８年７月１１日から、生涯有効です。
既に取得済の証明書（期限切れの証明書を含む。）については、７月１１日より自動的に有効期間が生涯有効となります。
(更新手続きなどは不要とのこと。)
・有効日は接種日の１０日後からとなるため、証明書が必要となる国に入国する１０日以上前に接種した方がいいようです。
